Sydney

I have to say that our stay in Sydney has been anything but your typical tourist visit.  After arriving on Friday afternoon we picked up our rental car and left to pick up two girls at another section of the airport who would also be staying at my cousin Louise's house (apparently I am related to one of them in some obscure way).  We went around the airport four times trying to find them (meanwhile my mom was trying to learn to drive on the left side of the road) and on the last time around we decided to give up and let someone else pick them up.  We ended up spending that night around the house and in a downtown area nearby called The Boulevard where we braved walking around in the arctic weather.  Saturday we went to one of the ginormous malls to wander around, try and find internet, and find heavier jackets since we had come so unprepared.
The highlight has without a doubt been the Hillsong church.  We woke up early to make it to the 8 o'clock service and ended up going to that service, the 9 o'clock service, and staying for the beginning worship of the 11 o'clock service.  My mom and I both agreed that we could spend the whole day there.  Once we left in the middle of the 11 o'clock service we ate lunch and decided to drive into downtown Sydney and see the Sydney Opera House and Darling Harbor and some of the other attractions.  After we had driven around for a couple hours we turned around and drove back to Hillsong for the 5:30 service which was epic.  Both of the speakers we heard were phenomenal, they were extremely engaging and hilarious!

We are off to Townsville!  Thank you all for your prayers and support.
